Antenna Placement

Optimising antenna placement & couping is the key aspect, since the installed antenna performance is heavily dependant on how and where the antennas are integrated.

EMI/EMC

EMI/EMC analysis is extensively used for immunity and efficient analysis involving cables, antennas and other devices. It is possible to simulate shielding effectiveness, electromagnetic pulses, high intensity radiating fields etc.

Radiation Hazard Analysis (RADHAZ)

This analysis is used to determine how dangerous are the levels of radiation emitting from different antennas (RF emitters) placed on a vessel to human. This analysis can be used to arrange antenna away from human interfere location in a safer way.

Antenna Collocation Analysis/Co-site interference

RF Co-site interference occurs when two or more co-located RF systems affect one another’s smooth operation. This normally occurs when two or more RF systems are operating physically close to one another and they are operating in such a way that one of the transmitter negatively impact one or more receivers. Using this analysis, it is possible to place antenna in such a manner that one is not disturbing the operation of another.

Ship Magnetization

Investigation of electronic signature produced by ship in Earth’s magnetic field plays important role in naval ship design. These signatures need to be kept below safe level. Using Atair flex we can analyze the level of magnetization in ship and to develop degaussing mechanisms to reduce the magnetic signature.
