Piping Engineering

Discipline Capabilities:

System PFDs after preliminary study of the requirements and feasibility.

Piping & Instrumentation diagrams including material specifications which represents the basic process design document for each piping system in a project. This is issued for Client / Classification society approvals.1

Calculations for internal / external pressure as per the pressure design requirements of International Codes.

Based on velocity criteria, pressure drop criteria and economic line sizing criteria.

Determination of flow rate, head requirements for pumps, preliminary and subsequently detailed using flow analysis software.

Drainage systems for projects ranging from ships to townships based on NORSOK standards.

Detailed material specification development for complete piping systems on a project.

MTOs (preliminary and detailed) taken system-wise or area / deck – wise for the purpose of material costing / procurement purposes.

Preparation of detailed TES for procurement of piping components.

Pipe stress analysis in CAESAR II for stress-critical lines.

Done over 3D laser scans, this is the next phase of retro-fit design after the feasibility study. We continue with the process up to fabrication engineering drawings for the yard to directly execute.
