MANAGER – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT– Graduate Naval Architect, Marine, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with MBA from a reputed educational institution.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Ship Design or Engineering Design Organisation providing engineering services to International Clients as a design engineer. Further 5 year experience in marketing Engineering services in engineering field preferably in marine and offshore field.

Responsibilities: Marketing company’s engineering capability to international clients involved in Ship and offshore design and construction. New business development with current engineering capabilities into non marine areas of engineering. Meeting sales targets and profitability for services provided.

1. Machinery Design Engineer– B.E/ B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduates with 2-10 years experience in machinery design department of a shipyard, design consultancy or classification society.

Functional Area : Should be up-to-date with the latest rules and developments in the industry, Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV, IMO, IMS, NES) and practical ship building standards & procedures.

Conversant with ships machinery systems design and arrangements including  piping system design and  HVAC/ refrigeration systems.

Should be able to guide junior engineers and support them with required technical know how to do the design. Familiar with estimation of project resource requirement, planning and execution. Should be able to prepare formal document / reports.

Working experience in Basic , Detail and Production design is essential.

3. Electrical Design Engineer – B.E/ B.Tech Electrical Engineering graduates with 2-10 years of experience in ship's electrical system design.

Functional Area: Should be up to date with the latest rules and developments in the industry. Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV Etc.)
Familiar with electrical load analysis for ships, preparation of Classification drawings, production drawings as well as system wise drawings.

Should be able to coordinate work with Out-fit, Piping, Machinery, Structural and other departments.
Scrutiny of suppliers/ makers drawings. Distribution of power and arrangement of electrical equipment on ships, Preparation of electrical specifications for equipment.

Should be able to prepare formal document/ reports, Maintain ISO records as well as updating of practices.

Skills Required: Application Knowledge of softwares like Autocad, M.S Office, Tribon, and Cadmatic.

4. Structural Design Engineer – B.E/ B.Tech STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING / NAVAL ARCHITECTURE/ Engineering graduates with 2 - 10 years of experience in ship's structural design.

Functional Area: Should be up to date with the latest rules and developments in the industry. Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV Etc.).Should have done full cycle of structural design for ships. Should have hands on experience in design verification. Should be able to lead/ guide junior engineers and support them with required technical know. Should be able to estimate project resource requirement, plan and execute successfully.

Should be able to prepare formal document/ reports, maintain ISO records as well as updating of practices.

Skills Required: Application Knowledge of softwares like Autocad, M.S Office, Rule finder, Tribon, and Nupas .

5. FEM Analyst – B.E/ B.Tech STRUCTURAL/ CIVIL/ MECHANICAL/ NAVAL ARCHITECTURE/ Engineering graduates with 2- 10 years of experience in ship's structural design and FEA.

Functional Area: Should be up to date with the latest rules and developments in the industry. Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV Etc.) Should have done full cycle of structural design for a ship. Should have hands on experience in doing the design verification. Should be able to formulate methodology, model, mesh, apply boundary conditions, analyse the structure using various FEM softwares. Should be able to guide/ lead junior Engineers in executing the assignments. Should be able to estimate project resource requirement, plan and execute successfully.


Skills Required: Application Knowledge of softwares like Autocad, M.S Office, FEMAP, Nastran, Patran, Ansys, Strucad, Staadpro etc.

6. Naval Architect - Bachelor or Masters degree in Naval Architecture from any reputed university with 2- 10 years of experience.

Functional Area: Should be up to date with the latest rules and developments in the industry. Familiar with Ship classification society rules and regulations (LLOYDS, ABS, IRS, DNV Etc.) Hands on experience in basic, structural,outfit design is desirable. Classification plan approval experience with any Major Classification societies will be counted.


Skills Required: Application Knowledge of softwares like Autocad, FEMAP, Nastran, Patran, Ansys, NAPA,Maxsurf, NUPAS, Cadmatic and M.S Office etc.

7. Consultant- - Bachelor or Masters degree

Retired senior persons with classification plan review and approval experience in Statutory, Hull, Machinery and Electrical departments – Must be conversant with upto date class and regulatory bodies rules and regulations to act as advisors and to provide oversight and quality assurance of design documentations.

Retired senior persons from leading shipyards with design experience in a senior capacity will also be considered.

8. Technical Advisor - Bachelor or Masters degree

to act part time on a need basis for Coast guard and Navy projects - Retired Naval and Coastguard technical personal relevant experience in design, plan review and approval

9. Draftsman

Functional Area: Tasks will involve updating and creating 2D drawings of Structure, Machinery, Piping, Outfitting and Electrical drawing including schematic part drawings, assembly drawings, plant layouts, machine foundation drawings, Bill-of-material generation for completed drawings etc.

Skills Required:  Very good proficiency in AutoCAD, good marine drafting skill and fast understanding of ship design drawings.
